...and now to choose an appropriate title!

I've just returned home from watching The Mist; based on a short story, I believe, by Stephen King. Half way through, I thought the movie was just making par with my expectations (which actually weren't very high). The second half, however, blew me out of the water. I wouldn't put it up for an Oscar or anything, but it kind of knocked my faith in humanity back down a few notches. Now, I know it was a fictitious story, but - without giving too much away - it reminded me of a few, all too obvious, traits we have as human beings. A general tendency to seek out leadership in times of chaos...sorry, maybe not seek it out, per se, but definitely to follow when someone strong-minded enough to follow comes along. Why do we wait to be inspired? Why sit here writing when there are so many things I could be doing to make the world better?
